Scribing your story into spaces.

About

Takohi weaves together two Polynesian-Tongan words — Ta and Kohi.
Ta speaks of time unfolding within space. Kohi is the act of marking, striking, or scribing a surface to give form.
Ta-Kohi architecture is the etching of story into the spaces you inhabit — where time, memory, and place are forever intertwined.

We work one-on-one with families to create homes that truly reflect who they are. Based in Sydney, you’ll be working directly with the principal architect Bruce Moa—from exploring ideas and sketching the first concepts, to preparing council applications, detailed documentation, and even helping you find the right builder.

Whether it’s a smart renovation or a full knock-down and rebuild, Bruce will guide you through each stage, making the process clearer and less stressful. He’ll take care of the details while keeping you involved, so your home turns out just the way you imagined.

As a registered architect, the goal here is to listen, understand, and support families and individuals on their journey. If you’re curious about what’s possible or just need some advice, get in contact with Bruce.
